My fidelity account through my employer 403b has access to brokerage link which allows you many more options to invest into (thousands) including many low cost index fund options.
The money is stuck in bad investments until you end your employment with that company. The taxes does not out weight little to no yield. Open a IRA or Roth IRA with a Vanguard or fidelity investments.
Solo 401k for the win… Own it (no rollovers) and choose what to do with it! 🙂
