Short answer, when the stock market tanks is when you want to. Then the tax bill be less cause you portfolio has lost alot of it's valve and when the market comes back you make out like a champ.

What is a reasonable fee for a Roth account? Are all fees a percentage of the account balance?

The best time to do a Roth conversion is 20 years ago. Too bad such a thing didn't exist then.

Hi, I have some money in my ROTH 401k. I am going to change my employer soon, how do I move that money to my ROTH IRA or any best option use it to buy individual stocks ?

    Thanks,

I converted from IRAs to Roths in my 60s when we were in a lower tax bracket. It has grown tax free and over half of that money is now profit and tax free! This year at age 71 I start minimum distributions which will throw me in a high tax bracket and my ROTH conversions will probably be reduced or not done at all. But that ROTH account that I accumulated will continue to grow and pass to my heirs tax free!
