I quit my job, cash in my 401K, started trading forex and when I had enough money I left the US so I could trade CFDs and never regretted my decisions.

Probably the worst advice videos ever given on why not to have a 401K. Admits he doesn't understand or know the stock market. Mentions he cashed it out for car payments. Legitimately could have kept that money growing and save additional money for the other things you want. If anything. This sounds like a justification video for why you moronically cashed out your 401K. You have 0 understanding of compound interest and how it works overtime. I'm thinking to create my own YouTube channel now. I at least have more knowledge to explain why decisions make sense or not. Cashing out a 401K because you think other investments are better without going into detail about them and just saying 'real estate' is a fools game. 99% of people who do this don't know how to control their money. If they did, they wouldn't stupidly withdraw money, negating any gains in the first place. You should have never invested that money in the first place and could have saved 4K up probably with the same kind of contributions without any fees.

The problem is most companies won't let you close your 401k account if you are an active employee.

When the elite called van guard and black rock own everything we are becoming a communist country.. they own all 3 pokey pokes and all major companies. Tech and pharma. Go to yahoo finance and look at the holders. Find out who own those 2 companies .. it's private owners lol funded by the trillions of dollars they passed with our taxes..stop. putting these people in office

You know, the ones trying to try to make fast money, end up broke!? Slow and Steady is what makes one wealthy….Many wealthy successful people did NOT become rich "Overnight"….However, your decision. It's going to take A LOT of research and A LOT OF LUCK on your part. Having said that, wonder how you are doing today?

  21. Robert Simpkins

You should’ve been contributing the max so it could’ve grown faster so that you could’ve had enough money to do some life changing moves with.

I took out enough to buy two rental properties cash. Now I’m getting tax free rental income appreciation, and I reinvested the HELOCs on them back into the market so I can double dip. I still max out my retirement plan for the tax advantages yearly plus I can write off the rental income.

Inflation is coming hard with all the extra money in circulation. The rich get richer because they own assets, real estate, stocks, and business. The poor will get bleed dry with higher cost of rent, low wages, high priced goods, and services.
