Much of the Global South is rebelling as Israel destroys Gaza, with US/EU support. Colombia’s first-ever left-wing President Gustavo Petro warned that the West’s exploitative economic model is bringing back fascism, and neocolonial elites treat the peoples of the Global South as “disposable, like the children of Gaza”.

Title: Israel’s Destruction of Gaza: A Fascistic Plan for Global South, Warns Colombia’s President

Introduction:

The ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine has once again escalated, with Israel launching devastating airstrikes on Gaza, resulting in significant loss of life and widespread destruction. Amidst the chaos, Colombia’s president, Iván Duque, has emerged as a prominent voice denouncing Israel’s actions, warning that the destruction of Gaza is part of a fascistic plan targeting the Global South. His statements shed light on the geopolitical implications of Israel’s relentless bombardment and emphasize the need to address the root causes of conflict to achieve lasting peace in the region.

Understanding the Conflict:

The Israeli-Palestinian conflict has its roots in historical grievances and territorial disputes, fueled by religious, political, and social complexities. Gaza, a densely populated strip of land, has been under Israeli military control since 1967, leading to decades of systemic oppression and marginalization of Palestinians. The spark that ignited the recent surge in violence was the forced eviction of Palestinian families from the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in East Jerusalem, which triggered widespread protests and subsequent Israeli crackdowns.

Israel’s Aggressive Response:

Israel’s heavy-handed response to the protests, including the attacks on Al-Aqsa Mosque, only served to exacerbate tensions. In response, Hamas, the militant group governing Gaza, launched rockets towards Israeli cities, provoking Israel’s airstrikes on the enclave. While Israel cites self-defense as the motivation behind its actions, the scale and intensity of its attacks raise concerns about the disproportionate use of force against civilians and infrastructure, contributing to the immense humanitarian crisis in the region.

Colombia’s President Warns of a Fascistic Plan:

President Iván Duque’s condemnation of Israel’s actions as a fascistic plan targeting the Global South highlights the larger geopolitical interests at play in the region. His remarks draw attention to historical patterns where powerful nations, particularly Western ones, have played a significant role in shaping policies and conflicts in the Global South to serve their own interests. Duque’s remarks urge the international community to view the Israeli-Palestinian conflict within the broader context of global power dynamics, colonization, and imperialism.

Seeking Sustainable Solutions:

Addressing the Israeli-Palestinian conflict calls for a multilateral approach that prioritizes dialogue, negotiation, and respect for international law. As calls for an immediate ceasefire grow louder, it is crucial to create conditions for meaningful peace talks that genuinely address the root causes of this age-old conflict. Recognizing the right to self-determination and equality for both Israelis and Palestinians lies at the core of any long-lasting solution.

International Community’s Role:

The international community, including the United Nations, must play an active role in mediating negotiations and providing humanitarian aid to those affected by the conflict. It must also exert pressure on Israel to end its aggressive actions and respect the rights of Palestinians. Boycotts, divestment, and sanctions against entities that perpetuate human rights abuses are tools that can be effectively employed to hold Israel accountable and contribute to a just and sustainable peace in the region.

Conclusion:

Colombia’s president’s warning regarding Israel’s destruction of Gaza as a fascistic plan for the Global South should serve as a wake-up call for the international community. It emphasizes the need to view the Israeli-Palestinian conflict not as an isolated incident but as part of a larger web of power imbalances and historical injustices. Only by acknowledging and addressing these complexities can we hope to achieve a lasting and equitable peace for all parties involved.

Many new heads of state of the Global South come from the forgotten, rotten, and "revolutionary" left of the 70´s. They are incapable of providing a good government for their own people, take a look at Cuba, Venezuela, Nicaragua, and Mexico. Their presidents are full of words against the powerful states because they feel tiny and unseen. The global south is crashing thanks to their stupid populist leaders and soon will slip into the Third World even further.

In war, politicians provide ammunition, the rich provide food, and the poor provide their children. When the war is over and the politicians get back the remaining ammunition, the rich will grow more food, leaving only the poor, looking for the graves of their children.

The west is a corporatocracy. That is rule by corporations and finance. Mussolini nationalized the banks in 1926. China is national socialist and fascist, the west is finance capitalist and a corporatocracy. Read Mussolini to understand fascism and what it is.
