    I began working full time on Monday, Aug. 7, 2023, because my SSD benefits are simply no longer enough to live on in the Biden economy. I had no choice; I Had to have extra income! I am assuming that the SSAdministration WILL be aware of what I'm now earning because, first of all, I filled out a W2 form, of course …. and that W2 has my SSN on it …. and second, they're the Government, and they know Everything we do. Am I correct about that? I have heard about this Ticket To Work program, but I assume that there's nothing more for me to do, on my part.

    Been on disability for 13 years. And need things fixed I can not finish fixing them on 940 a month when pay about 825 that's All my monthly bills and steel do with out …I think some individual prejudge me before I even open my mouth …I am not perfect but very Honest person..

    Hi attorney Walter, I’ve been on ssdi for 14 years and I’m turning 65 in sept 2023, can I return to work part time and not make over 1470 a month and not loose my ssdi benefits and continue to do so until I turn 66 and 8 months which is my full retirement age. Any other advice you can give will be very well appreciated, thank you,

    Working in America is a slave trade.Why would anyone on SSI work if your only able to make 85$ a month before your Benefits get taken.

    Walter, I went to a waiver conference this week and the SSA employee disputed the trigger month that my overpayment began. I provided that months pay stub to dispute SSA figure. Also, employee told me that paid time off counts as income. As u know this is not true. She then verified on her computer I was correct. SSA made their decision of overpayment on wages that did not include sick, vacation and personal time. I also use a cell phone with magnification features to do my job as I have vision impairment. She disputed this also as I told her it was a work impairment expense. She made copy of receipt for phone. I also filed reconsideration a year ago and my file has not been touched. I could not believe the SSA employee didn't know the guidelines for SGA what are your thoughts?

    I tried 3 times to go back to work and each time i had a stroke. Im done know. I hate being disabled. If u get on disability early in life before u pay enough in social security, u want get nearly enough to live on or have a home like me. I was struck by lightning and only got 400 a month to live on. Basically in the street amount of money. U cant even get enough to get a roof over ur head

    I am on SSDI and need to earn more $ so i can have utilities at the house I currently rent.
    My friend said try focus groups. It's like group surveys where people share and discuss opinions.
    I am only looking for about $600 a month if i can find these studies.
    SS said I would HAVE to go to Ticket to Work.
    For a few surveys?
    I was looking for work from home and something that does NOT cause me a lot of pain.
    I have carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands and twice in my dominant hand.
    Going back to a regular job would just be too painful.

    PLEASE LOOK if you drive . and you are disabled at your 3 yearly assessment the doctor will pull your finger .. if you pull to light he will send you to a disabled driving test AND YOU WILL FAIL it is set up to take disabled off the road

    Once you trigger the first work trial period. Are they contingent? I make $1300, 700, 700, 700. Is that 4 months of work trial period? Or just one?

    So funny that you have prove to not being able to work in any capacity at any job for 12 months + and have to prove the disability is so grave that you can't work at all at any job. It is extremely difficult to get Dr's answer forms correctly and to get all the much needed information from all medical providers to S.S as they also rely on the claimant to provide proper medical records. Then there's the waiting times with many many months for the original review then all the appeals and hearing if needed as getting approved on the first initial claim is not the norm. Soooo. It's a very long and most times difficult process so when you are approved it is because you are totally disabled according to all the proof and S.S. crazy calculations. So after doing all that S.S. offers work incentives hmmm work incentive for people found by them and all their red tape to be totally disabled. Their totally disabled that's it unless miracles are performed on the claimant they are not able to work. I think this ploy from S.S is completely hypocritical and the practice falls against a claimants rights to benefits. S.S. disability was created for people who are totally disabled and SSDI is supposed to run like insurance as workers pay into the system so when they are disabled they should be able to draw their contributions as they already added their part to the program. SS has their a shady side. I just don't get it

    I am legally blind and have been on disability since oct 2022 and I am still trying to work of course the people at SSO aren’t helpful I earn less than the $970 a month working but I can’t live off of that and benefits with a family of four what can I do

    I know a couple people on disability that work, they have an agreement with the owner of the company who is desperate for workers. He issues half the pay in check direct deposit and the other half in “cash” which solves ALOT of problems.
    With today’s inflation $1050 doesn’t go very far.
